Further Greetings

I have settled in nicely and am having a wonderful time thus far. Courses are just about to begin (with registration starting next week) and more and more students are arriving at the college every day. I am becoming more comfortable with the surrounding area (Camden) and have managed to waste countless hours discussing world (and US) politics at the pub ("Freddies") in the basement of my residence hall and at the dinner table in the great hall (not so different from the Great Hall at Hogwarts: http://www.norcalblogs.com/sustainable/harry-potter-great-hall.jpg).

I have also procrastinated my summer reading a bit further but in so doing have been addressing the root of my tendencies to procrastinate. I highly recommend that any member of the Crocker family, or any friend seeking to gain a better understanding of "what makes me tick" read Driven to Distraction a book about ADD by Dr. Edward M. Hallowell and Dr. John J. Ratey (don't worry Bubba-Darling, they both are M.D.s).

Hope all is well in the states and don't forget to VOTE!!! I will be striving for a regime change from abroad once more, but fear not I have already registered for my absentee ballot!
